A good day out was had by all and even if the weather wasn’t the best we still had a healthy turnout. And a lot of smiling faces.
The CLAN stunt riders were a big hit and pulled off some pretty impressive stunts and displays of balance.
The kids races went off well and competition was intense, while our shiny new balance bikes got well tested by younger riders.
The Cycle Scotland obstacle course and the see-saw in particular was busy all day and kept the volunteers busy keeping an eye on everyone.
The volunteers at the CFK tent were on hand to explain what we are up to and what we’re planning for the future. Hopefully some will make it along to our regular Ride outs too!
Everyone was catered for by the Billy Can, the Bowling Club barbecue, the Hog Roast at the Duke and of course the WI tea and cakes tent. And then there was the craft stalls, Bothy Bikes maintenance stand, the Bike amnesty, Electric bikes and Highlife Scotland’s spin challenge. At the end of the day there were a lot of happy and inspired young cyclists with tired legs!
